I’m excited to share that I will be joining the faculty in the Anthropology Department at Purdue University in Spring 2019! I am happy to have found an academic home that shares my commitment to not only using anthropology to understand humanity but to also improve the human condition and change the world! I plan to continue my work as an engaged scholar and teacher through the development of the “Okonkwo immersive research Lab”(tentatively titled). I also look forward to expanding my current projects in Ghana and upcoming project in Nigeria. Special shoutout to my army of supportive, caring and patient mentors, friends, and family. Thank you so much for your time, prayers, chants, and all throughout the job search/negotiation process.
